For some reason with all the characters shown in the series, there never was a male operator with a female net navi. You think with how some men make their characters in MMORPGs female that male operators with female net navis would be more common.

Eh, don't really feel like typing an entry, but if I gotta make sure to post more than 1 entry this month...
Geek Media Expo
A spinoff of MTAC for the regular geeking that was held early this month. It was a nice, relaxing con-going. Yeah, I said relaxing. Though still a lot a people, there were far less attendees compared to MTAC being the first GMX & all, not to mention not as many panels and/or cosplay photoshoots to go to. Two of my favorite panels that I went to were the ones for the Nostalgia Critic & the G.I. Joe PSAs. The Nostalgia Critic panel was especially funny at the end where he did a skit he recorded for his Casper review.
World Hetalia Day
I could care less about it being planned to go with "United Nations Day", for me, I'm just glad it was cosplay gatherings all over the world & that there was one in Nashville. Had a fun time, just didn't want to leave though. (I should find the other fellow cosplayers' LJ accounts & friend them.)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Got myself a copy of it at GMX & I can't stop playing it. My main reason for constantly playing it was to get as far as I can before the Hetalia meet in-case there was anyone who wanted to play multiplayer with me on it. That didn't happen, but now I plan on finishing it to get through the story so I won't be spoiled nor have to avoid reading any discussions on it. The game itself is very fun & enjoyable; great for portable.
Now what am I going to do this Halloween night? Easy, sleep. Need to get as much as I can for my CoP static tomorrow noon where we go through Promyvion - Vahzl. That dimensional area will be mine!... in about 4 - 6 weeks.

Hah, only posted 1 entry in here all last month, so sad. Anyways, I'm out here camping in Nashville once again, this time because dad & I are going to GMX con! From the same staff as MTAC, but with just regular non-anime geek out. What I'm looking forward to most from it is the guest appearance of That Guy With The Glasses! My enthusiasm for it is moderate, quite curious on what'll go on in there, I think my dad's far more excited for it. Now, am I gonna cosplay while I'm there? No, but I did bring my North Italy & Netto costumes just in case if anyone dresses up as a character from either series.

Eh, I just don't really feel like posting entries these days.
•Got my set of Hetalia One Coin Figures last Thursday. The figures are all placed on my dad's desk where they'll reside for now. He finds them cute.
•Also got 2 Rockman EXE books; Rockman EXE no subete & Rockman EXE no himitsu, with my order of Hetalia figures. Sadly, I can't read Japanese aside from some katakana which is a shame since it looks like there's tons of delicious info in subete. Despite that, I did manage to learn some things from it like the name of Nation Z (I always wondered if it was Nation X or Nation Z in the JP version.), the Blues that green eyes if we go by the prototype designs, & character heights. (Blues & Gutsman are shorter than I expected. Netto's mom is taller than both of them.)
•Went to a town hall meeting on Monday evening with my parents. Was quite civil, so next time if we ever go to one, it'll have to have some idiot who thinks this socialized health care is a good thing; it's not, it never worked well in any country that uses it. I mean, would want to be forced to wait months in order to get your cancer down/removed?
•Moved Roukuke from Odin to join Lchan on Shiva this morning. I haven't been active much over on Odin for the past few months other than checking on my chocobo nor have I been in any linkshells with a lot of members. I figured why not just have her be in the same server with my main character who has friends & busy linkshells? It will also help on inventory & gil. For the past week, I've been buying as many bargains as I can get there & I've done well, until I accidently spent all my gil on a nice level 30 Ninja katana, thus moved to get away with that disappointment & start again. Here's what I managed to get from all the buying:
That's pretty much it for the past week & a half. Tomorrow, I'm going to a Hetalia cosplay picnic at Nashville Centennial Park so I can't wait to attend that, especially after the fact that I & only 2 other people cosplayed as Hetalia characters at this year's MTAC.

•Thick Sollerets = 2,000 gil (Shiva - 8,000)
•Wagh Baghnakhs = 10,000 gil (Shiva - 40,000)
•Bison Wristbands = 10,000 gil (Shiva - 30,000)
•Orcish Gauntlets = 9,000 gil (Shiva - 40,000)
•4/5 of the materials for Black Adargas = 39,000 gil (There's a fellow LS member with a leathercrafting mule that'll help me out on getting this item. Nobody on either server is selling the item I'm missing so I'll need help on farming it.)
•Nikkariaoe = 84,490 gil (I was haggling for 20k - 30k for it, but I accidently pressed the left arrow & enter keys too hastily.)

Man, don't let me get all the books before I acquire & read the proper volume to continue. I spent the morning reading the rest of +Anima from where I left off, which means I read #3 all the way to #10. It was addicting to find out the mysteries of the +Anima species & the characters that I had to go to the next book as soon as I finish the previous one. It was satisfying since they actually closed all the loose ends. Would I recommend it? If you're into an adventure. Favorite character? Probably Senri for all the amusing yet subtle actions he does in various humor panels, with almost no dialog. Cooro would have to be 2nd favorite because I like happy shounen anime protagonists. Which animal form would I take if I was a +Anima? Not sure exactly, might come back to that one later, but I don't think it's something I'd tell on my LJ, maybe not in a public entry.

The hard-to-find for some reason Volume 3 of +Anima arrived today, completing my set of all 10 volumes & thus able to continue reading it. From what I've read of the first 2, it's pretty good.
In other stuff, I have started Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace a couple days ago after getting 100% on Star Force 2 (Which I am glad to finish & not have to touch it again.) & have added my Friend Code for it on my FC List entry. I'm at the beggining of what seems to be the Dia Iceburn scenario, & so far, I find this to already be more enjoyable than the first 2 games, mainly because of the wizards & me missing the net navis of EXE. This is was the series should've had from the start, but then again, the story of WarRock & some of the other bosses wouldn't have been as great. There are a few minor names I found amusing, & I did some Twitter updates when I started playing about them:
•Started playing MMSF3 Black Ace & I'm loling at the fact that the first NPC you talk to is named Mary McLovin. (4:31 PM Jul 8th)
•Random Shooting Star Rockman fact: Subaru has an earthworm named James. (Supersuit to bust viruses for James is optional.) (4:40 PM Jul 8th)
•I just found a worse dub name than Rich Dotcom in this series, Candy Bar. Yes, that's an NPC name, a random NPC no less. (4:43 PM Jul 8th)
More that are worth mentioning is that I believe that Shidou is a sugarholic & the noise concept, judging by what was defined by it in the game, I just hope it doesn't turn into something like Ferngully & more similar to The World Ends With You.

I got Megaman Star Force 3 Black Ace today, but have yet to play it. I will once I at least complete my Mega Card Library in MMSF2. The more important part of the entry though is that I also got the MMSF3 Protection Kit for the DS Lite. I thought it only came in DSi form until I saw a couple with a different colored cover that said it was for DS Lite, so I had to buy it, & it was a great purchase.
•Transparent cover case that has an outline of Shooting Star Rockman on the top & a slider carrying case for 3 cartridges & 1 stylus on the bottom. (Easily the best item in the package.)
•6 cardboard designs that are interchangeable made to go on the top. They come in Red Joker VS Black Ace, Red Joker, Black Ace, basic blue, basic green, & basic red. (My DS is using the Black Ace design which matches the coral pink DS Lite well.)
•3 1-cartridge game cases that come in blue, red, & black. (My least favorite item in there. Just even more case backup for my games.)
•8-bit Rockman screen cleaner with Capcom lanyard.
•White stylus that has a circle with a picture of Shooting Star Rockman on it. (I'd love to use it, but I can't put it in the case since the circle is too big to put in there.)
The case itself looks good on the DS even without any of the graphics sandwiched between them. What's even better looking is that if you angle it to the light properly, you can see rainbow colors on it. Altogether, I highly recommend this to any [Shooting Star/Star Force] Rockman/Megaman fan & to pick it up for either the DS Lite or the DSi along with your copy of MMSF3 while they're still out. Well worth $20 is at least for the case.
Also, a couple days ago at Wal-Mart, I found another nice DS accessory: A 4-cartridge keychain game case that look like mini-DS Lites complete with spare mini-stylus for $5 each & comes in white, pink, & black/red. A good, cheap buy if you're looking for a nicely aesthetic portable mass cart carrier. I got the entire set because they look so good. XP

Not much today, but I did start buying up on a new manga series for me to read called +Anima. Found out about it on TV Tropes while looking up on examples on of my favorite tropes. (I'm such a sucker for series that involve humans transforming into beasts.) Got volumes 1, 2, & 4 (Both stores I went to lacked 3.) & I haven't read much of it yet, but from what I've seen so far, its got a great concept.
Remember that Nation Meme I answered a while back? Here's a version I found on deviantART that involves mythical creatures.

So Billy Mayes died today. Jeeses, that's the 4th famous person death here this week, with 2 of them dieing at age 50. I'm starting to wonder if this is a conspiracy or mere coincidence. Guys, I just got a random realization. There needs to be material of Kristoph Gavin x Ivan Braginsky. I don't care who tops, they could just be in a fight where one out sadist the other. Kristoph would totally drink up Ivan's "borscht", amirite? (I don't know if anyone would bother with such a thing in either kink meme. There's not much on crossovers in the Hetalia one except for a couple with Bandit Keith.)

I really hate wankers. I hate wankers even more that entertained me with sarcastic humor, but when one case where the author dropped an anvil of Author Tract, it has certainly gone to the point of no return for me. What is Author Tract you ask? I'll spare you five hours of TV Tropes & quote part of the description below:
All writers put something of themselves into their stories, but some of them go just that little bit too far. For them, the real point of writing is not to shape worlds or create characters, but to express the Big Important Truths that are close to their heart.
This is certainly not always a bad thing. Done well, this can add an extra layer of meaning and resonance to a story. Done poorly, as it all too often is, it will just result in the audience rolling its eyes and giving up. Even done well, an unfortunate result of the Author Tract is that some people will dismiss perfectly good stories simply because they disagree with the author's viewpoint. Even those who agree with the author may tune out if the author begins to lay it on too thick.
As you see, the key part of those two paragraphs is in bold, and that is certainly the case of what I am doing. I am giving up on a fan-parody series that used to make me laugh, but with just one joke in his latest episode, he has crossed the line and jumped the shark. The joke was very stale, not funny, and insulting. I have commented about this on the video and even replied to his Twitter with sincere criticism. He took that as to make more of these stale jokes in spite. I replied back to him with this:
And risk a loss of viewers & subscribers? I think the following sentence from TVTropes fits perfectly if you do take this path: "One of the writers puts too much of himself into the show, to its detriment. He may use it as a pulpit to preach his personal beliefs in a heavy-handed manner, or to display personal kinks which Squick the audience out." -Jump the Shark, TVTropes. I'm just looking out for ya, that's all.
He becomes immature and an even bigger jerk in reply. So pretty much I just said 'screw you' and gave him these final words:
If you're gonna be like this everyone, why should anyone listen to you? I have judged your character, & it is very poor.
Thus, I have unsubscribed, blocked him from my YouTube account, unfollowed him on Twitter, and will block him there too when I get to it & find a way. You know, now I really hope he will take the path he chose in reply to my constructive criticism, make everyone else see how immature he is and how stale his jokes will become, making him lose views until he crashes and burns big. Rest assured, this will not make me leave the fandom that this drama is related to, but it certainly has scarred me a little because of it. Fellow friends, please do stay away from this guy if you can, for the sake of good.
P.S. Did you notice my change in writing style? That is to show you that I am serious. No, this will not be under an LJ-cut so don't ask.

HeartGold, SoulSilver to come with pedometer.
Pedometer toy that actually has a useful function? DO. WANT. I could just imagine the possibilities.
•Use for walking trips of course. Stuff DS in purse, have PokéWalker on me raising the one Pokémon, once satisfied with the experience boost on that one, take a break & swap for the next Pokémon. Also it's easier for me to raise Pokémon in sunny areas. Raise Pokémon while shopping & walking around an entire convention floor several would certainly help, especially for my Platinum which I'm slacking off on.
•Speaking of Platinum, I certainly hope this'll be compatible with DPPt. I imagine that it's just like the Wii when it sends a wireless signal for PBR & Ranch. Well that was shot down. Does it take so much power to generate a wireless signal that a tamagotchi can't contain it? Or is the infrared there for security on transfers?
•Other colors than the standard Poké Ball. Doubt that this'll ever happen & you can probably paint/customize it to your liking, but hey, wouldn't mind having one that looks like a Heal Ball.
•Another good reason why the various colors: Wouldn't it be cool to have 6 these things? That way, you could look like a real Pokémon Trainer & it'll go great with cosplays. Not to mention, raise the entire party on a walk. Certainly help on getting them to 100. Just hope they aren't too expensive. Max I go for 6 separate PokéWalkers would be $90, $15 each, minus 1 since it's said that one will come with a copy of Heart Gold & Soul Silver, but +$10 since the game would cost about $30, so $100 max total.
•Please, please, let's hope this thing has a manual off button or switch to this thing. I remember playing with a Tamagotchi years ago & if I remember there was a sleep option for it, but I doubt that'll be the case in this one. Be nice to save some battery life when I'm not playing it or don't have a Pokémon in there.
Sorry if I've been rambling too much, but it seems that it's gonna be a new, nice change/alternative in main series Pokémon gameplay. I wonder if & when Gen 5 comes out we'll use the PokéWalker for that or even an upgraded V2 of it? I just hope it doesn't go like the Pocketstation or the Pokémon Mini, it'd be very interesting to play a simpler version Pokémon that's connected to the main game during daily activities.

EDIT (5:33 AM): Found out answer to one of my questions.
